NDC vetting c’ttee clears President Mahama to begin campaign President John Mahama has been given the approval to begin his campaign for the presidential primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). This was after the president went through the vetting processes by the vetting committee of the party on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the NDC Headquarters to lead party into 2016 general elections. The President is contesting unopposed. The NDC will hold its parliamentary and Presidential primaries on November 7. The party, has over the last few weeks, been holding regional vetting for the various aspirants across the country. GBC
