Gender Ministry expects effective implementation of social protection law next year

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection is expecting the effective implementation of a law on social protection next year.

The Sector Minister, Nana Oye Lithur said this in Accra at the opening of a stakeholders meeting on the validation of the social protection policy document.

The law will enable the country to achieve its social development goals.  Nana Oye Lithur said social protection is an effective tool that will help address poverty, vulnerability and exclusion.
