NAGRAT To Meet Government Incremental Arrears After 10 Day Ultimatum


NAGRAT says it will meet with government on Monday over the progress made with regards to members incremental arrears.

The Association says if nothing meaningfully comes out they may resort to strike. 

Government agreed to pay the National Association of Graduate Teacher’s (NAGRAT) and Coalition of Concern Teachers (CTT) their incremental arrears within the next ten days which expires today. 

Meanwhile, the Employment and Labour Minister Haruna Iddrisu has called on NAGRAT to allow due process to take place as efforts are made to pay them. He said  strikes will not solve the problem.

In another development, government says it will conclude all the work on the conditions of service of the Ghana Medical Association by the end of this month.

Negotiations have also been completed on the category two and three allowances.
