Committee for health promotion inaugurated in Accra 

A 40-Member Inter-Agency Coordinating Committee for Health Promotion-ICC-HP, has been launched in Accra to promote health related issues in Ghana.  

The Committee is expected to harness and coordinate the collective resources of stakeholders in an advisory capacity to achieve the Goal of the National Health Strategy.  

Speaking at the inauguration, Chairman of the National Media Commission, Ambassador Kabral Blay-Amihere called on the media to give health issues prominence.
