Central Medical Stores In Tema On Fire

Fire has broken out at the premises of the Central Medical Stores at the Tema Heavy Industrial Area.

Reports say the fire started at 9.30am allegedly as a result of bush burning within the premises by a worker. 

Other workers tried to fight the fire but to no avail. The Ghana National Fire Service was said to be on the scene. 

According to the Tema Police Regional Commander, DCOP Vib Saaziri, said should the situation get out of hand reinforcements will have to be called in from Accra.
