Beaches left out of national sanitation day 

A third national sanitation day has been held but it seems the beaches were left out.

GBC's Radio Ghana gathered that some time ago, government provided cleaners who kept the beaches clean.

According to the Dzaasetse of Chorkor Mantsuluemli, Daniel Neequaye, all of a sudden their operations ceased.

He said no explanation was given to the fishers.

Mr Neequaye however said occasionally residents cleaned the beaches.
