Exposing Corruption And Taking ‘Soli’ Is Hypocritical – Jon Benjamin

Ghanaian journalists are divided over the taking of what is normally referred to as soli.

The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, speaking at the 10th anniversary celebration of IMANI- Ghana, described as hypocritical, when journalists report on issues of corruption, yet they expect payment before reporting on such events.

But when Radio Ghana caught up with some journalists, some agree with him whiles others do not.
