The Daily Graphic has lauded the efforts of the country's health authorities for recognising the heroic sacrifices of our front-line health workers. The paper believes that access to competent and dedicated health workers can no longer be allowed to languish as a global health policy afterthought. The paper has again encouraged government to invest in equipment, supplies, training, effective management and financial support for the retention of health workers to ensure that every community has the work- force that is needed to save lives. It therefore advises health workers to use protective equipment to safeguard their lives against Ebola. 

The Ghanaian Times expresses disappointment that cocaine busts have become point-scoring subject between the NDC and NPP. It says this scenario has divided the country over the arrest of narcotic dealers. The paper adds that intense accusation and finger pointing has almost blurred the attempt of security agencies to engage in intense investigation to apprehend drug dealers. The paper says the debate on the latest arrest of Nayele Ametefe shows that politicians are not interested in fighting the menace. The Times urges Ghanaians to help fight drug trafficking with all seriousness.
