Government Approves Insurance For Frontline Ebola Workers

The Ministry of Health has concluded arrangements for an insurance package for front line health workers in the unlikely event of an outbreak of the Ebola Viral Disease.

The package also includes daily allowances.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Victor Asare Bampoe, announced this in Accra, during a dialogue series on measures to take in preventing an Ebola outbreak.

He said the package is to encourage and motivate front-line health personnel to volunteer and help in case the Ebola Viral Disease is detected in the country.
