AFAG demonstration worsens traffic situation in Accra Central

Hundreds of Ghanaians have joined pressure group, Alliance for Accountable Governance’s (AFAG) demonstration dubbed “Aagbe Wo”.

The demonstration which is currently in progress is to protest against what the Alliance says is the high level of corruption and economic hardship in the country.

It has caused heavy traffic in the central business district.

The demonstrators are also said to have diverted the route agreed upon with the police.
