Police justify decision to deploy 2,000 personnel for NPP Presidential Primaries

The Police Administration has justified why it is deploying 2,000 policemen for the NPP’s Presidential Primaries on Saturday.

Director of Public Affairs of the Service, DSP Cephas Arthur, says the administration does not consider the number huge because nothing will be left to chance in terms of security.

He said there is the need for a standby force as the election is a crucial exercise.
