Mental Nurses

Medical Professionals play a key role in the recovery of mental patients. Many have been attacked on several occasions. Despites the risks they face, these medical professionals continue to execute their job to the letter. Radio Ghana focuses its lense on two nurses psychiatrist nurses who love their jobs and work diligently to see their patients back no their feet. First is Judith Azumah who initially wanted to be a general nurse but ended up as a psychiatric nurse. She says she has never regretted that decision. Johnson Adika Atambile also relates how he became the focus of an attack when he tried to save his colleague from a violent patient.
