Soldier shot by unknown assailant now stable

The soldier who was shot yesterday by an unknown assailant at Alavanyo has been transferred to the regional hospital in Ho.

The Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Aggrey Quarshie in an interview with Radio Ghana said the soldier is in stable condition.

He said investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the shooting.

Meanwhile the Regional Minister is visiting the place to get firsthand information.
