63 Military personnel trained as Emergency Medical Technicians- EMT'S.

The Ghana Armed forces with support from the National Ambulance Service has trained 63 Military personnel as Emergency Medical Technicians- EMT'S.

They are expected to provide front line trauma care to Military personnel on the battle field.

The technicians will be deployed to health facilities of the Ghana Armed forces and for peace keeping operations.

Speaking at the passing out in Accra the Chief Executive of the National Ambulance Service, Professor Ahmed Zakariah said, the training obtained by the personnel will help them provide quality emergency assistance to improve health delivery.
