GAF investigates soldier shooting at Alavanyo Nkonya area

A soldier has been shot in the Alavanyo Nkonya area. 

Residents do not immediately know what triggered the shooting. 

The soldier whose name is not immediately known was taken to the Kpando Margaret Marquart Hospital and is responding to treatment. 

Meanwhile, the Ghana Armed Forces has sent a team to the scene of the incident.

The Public Affairs Director, Lieutenant Col Aggrey Quarshie tells Radio Ghana that the team will investigate the issue and report to headquarters.
