Read Full Statement Below: I wish to extend my sincerest felicitation to all Muslims across the world, and particularly in Ghana, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-il-Adha festival. On this blessed occasion, we pray for peace, unity and prosperity for the lives of our people and our nation Ghana. Let us all be reminded by the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim and the significance of willingly giving out something which is dear to us. We must be guided by this invaluable deed on this important day in order to reflect and be guided in our individual quest to live a just and a well spent life in our societies. I enjoin all our citizens to remain resolute in the face of our collective socio-economic challenges as a nation, and embrace with an open heart, the need to be selfless, honest and discipline for the restoration and progress of our dear nation. My thoughts and prayers are also with our brothers and sisters who are currently in Mecca to perform their hajj ceremony as a means of renewing and re-affirming their faith in Allah. Once again, I wish all Muslims a happy and peaceful Eid. Eid Mubarak! ...Signed..... Alan John Kwadwo Kyermaten
