Reports from Radio Ghana’s team of correspondents say at the Ahmadiyya Missionary at Community five, a Missionary, Ustaz Prince Aliu Adam said Muslims must learn to tolerate one another despite religion and political affiliations. He said Islam is all about peace, unity and love therefore Muslims especially the youth should not be deceived by some politicians to use them to perpetuate violence and mayhem. He repeated the call on Muslim parents to take the education of their wards especially the girl-child seriously to enable them to become responsible future leaders. At the Tema Stadium, prayers were said for the nation and the government. The Chief Imam, Adam Abubakar charged Muslims to weigh their actions in accordance with the tenets of Islam. He said death is inevitable, therefore all must be responsible and contribute their quota whiles alive. Imam Abubakar also advised Muslims to uphold proper hygienic practices to avoid the increasing rate of cholera. In Ashaiman, hundreds of Muslims gathered at the Ashaiman School Park to offer open air prayers. Then Ashaiman Chief Imam, Sheikh Mohammed Mustafa who led the prayers said Islam is all about peace and love therefore all Muslims must emulate this to receive Allah’s blessings. At Kpone, the Kpone Katamanso Chief Imam, Alhaji Abass Shaban called on leaders in the Country to live a good legacy for others to emulate. He said leadership should not be a chance to amass worth but a way of taking up responsible roles to help future generation. He called on the Muslim communities to be ambassadors of peace and work hard as well as assist the needy in society. About 500 Muslims converged on the Shai D/A School Park to offer prayers to Allah. The Shai Osudoku District Chief Imam, Alhaji Ahamedu Moro urged Muslims to be guided by the principles of Islam. GBC
