Gov’t Extends Felicitation to the Muslim Community on Eid-Ul-Adha

Government on the occasion of the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Adha festival extends its greetings and felicitations to all Muslims.

Government also called on all Ghanaians to join the Muslim community to take stock of the manifold blessings of Allah on this auspicious occasion.

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Edward K. Omane Boamah (Dr) Minister for Communications

The statement said while it is a time that warrants joyous celebration, government believes that Eid-Ul-Adha offers scope for sober reflection and rededication to the time-tested values of Islam, namely peace, love as well as spiritual and moral uprightness.

According to the statement, government notes that Eid-Ul-Adha being a celebration of sacrifice enjoins all as a people to pull together and pursue nation building with a unified front and work even harder to maintain the peace and stability we enjoy through tolerance and inter-religious dialogue.

“We wish all Muslims Eid Mubarak.” The statement said
