Ghana Revenue Authority Locks Up Offices Of Indebted Companies Ghana Revenue Authority, GRA, has embarked on a distress assessment to lock up companies that have failed to fulfil their tax obligations. The two companies visited so far are Data Bank Company Limited and Africa Automobile who both owe the GRA about GH¢ 8 million. Data Bank which failed to pay its taxes says it is as a result of a misunderstanding and has issued a postdated cheque of GH¢ 800,000.00 to pay half of the GH¢ 1.6 million they owe Africa Automobile which owes about GH¢ 6.5 million VAT has been locked up.
