AMA to sustain cleanup campaign in metropolis to prevent spread of infectious disease The Accra Metropolitan Assembly, AMA, says cleanliness in the city will be sustained to prevent infectious diseases such as Cholera from killing precious Ghanaians. The Chief Executive of the Assembly, Dr Alfred Oko Vanderpuije said the sanitation implementation committee has devised a mechanism to distribute more dustbins to residents and traders in markets. He told Radio Ghana that an alternative dumping site has also been developed and will also be developed to assist in efficient disposal of raffia waste.
