ECG Says GRIDCO Failed To Give Notice For Current Load Shedding

The Electricity Company of Ghana has blamed GRIDCO for its inability to prepare a timetable for the current load shedding. 

It says GRIDCO has been inconsistent in the supply of power to the Corporation hence the difficulty in   preparing the time. 

The  Public  Relations  Officer of ECG, William Boateng  saId  the   load shedding  programme  which  begun at the  beginning  of  this year has not  been  called  off.  He  said power  rationing   was  relaxed because of improvement  in  distribution due  to  sustained  gas flow from  the  West Africa  Gas Pipeline.
