Bank Of Ghana Dragged To Court.

The  Supreme  Court has ordered  the  Bank of Ghana to file a statement  of  case within  14 days  in a  suit  against  it. 

The Bank of Ghana has been dragged to the  Supreme Court  over  the depreciation of the  cedi by a private  legal practitioner, Dr. John Ephraim Baiden.
 
He is  asking  the  Court  to  order the BOG to put in measures to provide a stable currency,  while  accusing the Central Bank of  overstepping its  bounds  and  as a result hurting the  cedi.
