Talks Still In Progress for A Truce between Gaza And Israel.

A diplomatic push to broker a truce in the Gaza Strip is intensifying,
as Israel continues its military operation against militants in the
territory.  

US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet UN Secretary
Ban Ki-moon in Cairo, and other high-profile personalities later for
talks.  

Meanwhile, an Israeli soldier hit in a Hamas attack on Sunday is missing but the media says he is presumed dead.  

Nearly 600 Palestinians and 29 Israelis have died in 14 days of fighting. 

Most Palestinians killed are civilians, including dozens of children.
