Railway Workers Call Off Strike The Railway Workers Union of the Ghana Trades Union Congress (TUC) has called off its indefinite strike that began on Monday. The workers served notice of withdrawal of services in demand for better conditions of service. The workers after a meeting with President Mahama last night called off the strike after assurances that their demands will be met. The meeting agreed on the setting up of a committee to look into the salary and conditions of service of staff. The Ministry of Finance was directed to make funds available for repair works on the rails. GBC
