New development framework to replace Millennium Development Goals

A new development framework expected to replace the millennium development goals which will elapse next year has been put in place. 

Consultations have begun and women groups are actively involved to secure gender goals in the new frame work. 

Programmes Coordinator for ABANTU, Nafisatu Yusif, who made this known at a workshop on the Post 2015 development framework, explained that the workshop is to enhance knowledge and influence the policy processes.
