Government Asks Ghanaians To Ignore Rumours Of Cement Shortage Government has asked Ghanaians to ignore rumours of cement shortage hence the panic buying at exorbitant prices. President John Mahama gave the caution at a sod cutting event for work to start on a € 60 million cement production factory in Tema. He said government's investigations have shown that the commodity is being produced in excess and the rumour is mere connivance by cement producers and retailers. President Mahama also charged cement producing firms to invest in full integrated processing plants to produce cements here. GBC
