UTAG Threatens to boycott Lectures in next Academic Year

The University Teachers Association of Ghana has threatened to boycott lectures in the next academic year if government fails to pay their research and book allowance.

According to UTAG, government owes them two academic years and its inability to pay is affecting their performance.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the President of UTAG, Dr. Samuel Ofori Bekoe said although UTAG has so far managed to contain the mounting pressure on various campuses, it may no longer be in a position to prevent the situation from escalating anytime soon.
