Oscar Pistorius Trail Adjourned To August 7

A court in South Africa has adjourned to August 7 the case of Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius, who allegedly killed his girlfriend on Valentine's Day last year for closing arguments. 

Mr. Pistorius has denied intentionally killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, saying he mistook her for an intruder.  

The prosecution accused the double amputee of deliberately shooting dead his girlfriend after the pair had an argument.  

The trial, which began on March 3, is the first in South Africa to be broadcast live on TV and has attracted intense global attention. 

Mr.  Pistorius' lawyer said some witnesses refused to testify at the televised trial because of the publicity
