A bomb attack on Afghan Capital A suicide bomber has killed at least eight military officers and injured 13 others including civilians in an attack on an Air Force bus in the Afghan capital Kabul. The bomber detonated explosives after approaching the bus on foot. Last month, presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah survived a suicide bomb attack on his convoy in the capital, killing six people. The Taliban militia has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes two weeks after a run-off vote to find a successor to President Hamid Karzai. Source: BBC
