Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Plant For Oil And Gas Management Steps towards having a more positive environmental impact on Ghana's oil and gas have been given a further boost with the inauguration of a Multi-dollar Anerobic Thermal Desorption plant for an oil and gas management and spill response company at Nyankrom in the Shama District of the Western Region. Correspondent George Grant-Yankson reports that the State- of- the Art plant, the largest aside from Nigeria, is capable of treating up to eight tonnes of drilling waste per hour and processing waste plastics into valuable fuel products, thus helping to reduce the amount of plastic contamination in the environment.
