4 interdicted over use of expired chemicals to treat water A Committee of Inquiry has confirmed that the Ghana Water Company Limited has used some expired aluminum sulphate to treat water at the Weija Treatment Plant. As a result, four officials of the Ghana Urban Water Limited and the Ghana Water Company Limited have been interdicted for their role in the procurement of the chemicals. At a media briefing to make known the findings of the committee set up on the issue, the Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Alhaji Collins Dauda, said the four have been interdicted to facilitate further investigations by the BNI.
