Ghana sweeps first three positions in May/June WASSCE exams 

Ghana has swept the first three positions in the May/June WASSCE examinations. 

The candidates competed with their colleagues in Nigeria, Sierra Leone and The Gambia. 

The Head of National Office of WAEC, Reverend Sam Nii Ollenu announced this at the 2012 WASSCE Distinction Awards in Accra. 

Rev Ollenu said WAEC has resolved to curb examination malpractices and has introduced the biometric capture of candidate’s fingerprints to eliminate impersonation at the November/December WASSCE.
