Tema Port moves to stop falsification of documents

The Tema Port will from the 29th of this month take delivery of all reefer containers that call at the Port.

The move by the Tema Port Administration is to stop the the falsification of documents used in the clearing of imported frozen cargo especially chicken.

The Tema Port Director, Jacob Adorkor disclosed this when the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture in charge of Livestock, Hannah Bissiw visited the Tema Port.

The visit by the Deputy Minister was to enable her to review measures put in place to curtail the falsification of documents used in importation of poultry and meat products.
