Family, Students and wellwishers on Friday bade farewell to the first Ghanaian Headmistress of the Aburi Girls' Senior High School, late Dr Joyce Lucy Asibey.

Tributes eulogised her as the woman who nurtured her students in body, mind and soul to face the world after school.

A representative of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, CHASS in a tribute said Mrs Asibey was a committed member of the conference and also the first female president of CHASS.

Also eulogising the late Aburi Girls Headmistress was the 61 year group of the school.

To them, the late head mistress stood for justice and ensured that the white head mistresses at that time respected the blacks.

They recounted some memories during their stay in school.
