A Court and Crime reporter with the Enquirer News Paper, Felix Nyaba is suing the State for GH¢ 2 million for wrongful imprisonment.
Mr Nyaba spent four months at the Nsawam Prison after an Accra Circuit Court found him guilty of indecent assault and sentenced him to 36 months in prison with hard labour.
Mr Nyaba was early on charged with defilement of a five year old girl, just one month after his wedding.
Mr Nyaba however appealed against his conviction, and the Court of Appeal last Thursday acquitted and discharged him.
His lawyer, Francis Xavier-Sosu said it is in place for his client to seek compensation from the State.
Meanwhile, Mr Nyaba’s wife, Alice, who is full of joy, has been narrating to Radio Ghana what really happened.
