Pastor Eddie Letsa, Founder of Soul Food Ministries International and ICT College, said the College has trained about 7,927 youth in ICT education since its establishment in 2010.

He said the graduates were taken through practical computer training skills freely of charge to complement Government’s policy on Youth Employment.

Pastor Letsa was speaking at the 16th graduation ceremony of 820 graduates who benefited from the free ICT training programme.

He said the programme dubbed: "Free For All," is a non-denominational and non-religious biased training programme initiated by the Soul Food Ministries International (SFMI).

He said the training was to equip the youth with various information technology programmes like Administration (CCNA) Linux SLED, Novel Network, SQL, Network and Information Security, Hardware, Networking and Cisco certified Network, among others.

Pastor Letsa noted that the training made the students employable, as well as positioned them to be self-employed.

He, therefore, appealed to the government, philanthropists and ICT-focused organizations to support their course to enable the college train more youth to curb increases in social vices.

He advised the graduates to apply what they had learnt to improve society and impart the knowledge to others.

Pastor Letsa also urged them to desist from relying on government for employment, adding, “Your life belongs to you, and you must drive it yourself”.
