ACSRT is doing extremely well in the fight against Terrorism in Africa and perhaps the world over, but I think it can do more by working with its member states institutions through the AU Missions in the Member States. It can work by helping to reform and restructure the member states security, public sector and traditional institutions through an inclusive program of action. It can do this by mandating its Focal Points to work with the AU Mission in Member States in order to work with Parliaments through the requisite Parliamentary Committees to carve out policies for the proper oversight of reform and restructuring program activities aking use of whole security sector, government and society approaches. Just a food for thought to think about in your future endeavors as I do strongly believe that the ACSRT can still perform better and qualitative service by making use of its members states and their institutions.
