Vice President, GT University appeals to Gov't to expedite action on Bill

The Vice President of the Ghana Telecom University, Prof. Isaac Blankson is appealing to government to expedite action on the Bill to regularise the University as a public one.
Currently the university which partially operates as a public and private university to sustain itself has presented a proposal to the Attorney General requesting to be fully recognised as a public University.
Prof. Blankson in an engagement with the media said the Bill when pass into law will help the university access the needed funding to expand and also stand in readiness to absorb the many students who have taken advantage of the Free Senior High School policy.
Prof. Blankson also indicated the University through its long standing Partnership with the Conventry University in UK, will soon introduce Cyber Security and other health courses in their curriculum as the issue is topical across the globe.
