The Remains of Highlife Musician, Jewel Ackah will be laid to rest tomorrow at Axim in the Western Region after a burial service at Tema, Community 11. The highlife legend who had been battling stroke and other sicknesses for 10 years, passed on at his home in the late hours of Friday, April 27. Jewel Ackah composed songs like ‘Joyce San Bra’, ‘Kyere Mase’, ‘Manye Yie,’ ‘Bodambo Bodambo’ and ‘Asomdwe Hene.’ The ‘Prince of Highlife,’ is also known for composing the party anthem of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
