Ghana gone far in migrating to digital Television Broadcasting- Ursula Owusu

The Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu- Ekuful says the country has gone far in migrating from analogue to digital Television Broadcasting.

She stated that over the period, the Ministry has established a nationwide Digital Terrestrial Television network, that would provide coverage to at least 95 percent of the population in the country.

Speaking at the Second Preparatory Meeting for the World Radio Communication Conference for the ECOWAS Regions in Accra, Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful reiterated that the network carries at least 40 standard definition television programme channels in digital format and 20 Radio in multiplexer.
