The Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), says it will continue to pursue all avenues to ensure that the Cargo Tracking Note (CTN), is scrapped from the clearing process.
The Executive Secretary of GIFF, Eddie Akron said this at the third quarter business meeting of the Tema Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Tema.
The meeting aimed at enlightening members on the CTN and the way forward.
Mr. Akron said the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), has enough systems in place to do what the CTN system requires. Therefore there is no need for such duplication.
