GHANASS matron reports to police after days of being at large

The matron in the alleged food theft saga at the Ghana Senior High School, GHANASS at Koforidua, in the Eastern Region, Comfort Oduro Bruce, has reported to the Police to enhance investigations after days of being at large.

According to the Headmaster of the School, Rev. Abraham Osei Donkor, the matron reported to the school Monday and apologised to him for the allegations she leveled against him, about extorting money from first year students before being admitted.

He said investigations by the school are still ongoing to unravel allegations of thievery and pilfering.

Rev. Osei Donkor said the school's kitchen is supplied weekly on request from the matron and according to the number of students to be fed, and with their food preferences.
