The Administrator-General, David Yaro, has assured Ghanaians that in the light of current arrangements and the increasing importance of the office of the Administrator-General, the challenges and activities that characterised the 2016 presidential transition will be no more.
Mr. Yaro, who was speaking at a day's workshop on the preparation of a functional assets register for Regional budget officers in Accra, intimated that the next transition which is expected in 2020 will be less dramatic as all handing over notes will reach his office 30 days before the elections in accordance with the provision of the Presidential Transition Act 2012, Act 845.
