Program to reduce road crashes this festive season launched

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly in partnership with the National Road Safety Commission and other stakeholders have launched the City's Road Safety Program for the festive season.

The program running from now to January 2018 is aimed at enforcing road traffic regulations to reduce crashes and fatalities by fifty percent.

Speaking at the launch of the program dubbed Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims in Accra, the Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, said the Assembly, together with its stakeholders are committed to ensuring that the festive season is devoid of road crashes.
