Doctors threaten strike over service conditions

The Ghana Medical Association, GMA, has called on Government to immediately address all outstanding concerns of doctors regarding conditions of service.

It says government must resolve the issues pertaining to market premiums, conversion difference and also reduced pensions of doctors.

The GMA says it has given Government up to 6pm, April 30 NEXT YEAR to address the anomalies.

The GMA says it will advise itself if government fails to meet the deadline.

This ultimatum is contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the 59th Annual General Conference of the GMA in Kumasi.
