Work hard to promote investment and tourism for Ghana -Dr. Bawumia urges 2017 Miss Ghana winners

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged winners of 2017 Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant to promote investment and tourism for the country.

The Vice president made the call when he received Miss Ghana 2017, Margaret Mwintuur Dery, and her First Runner Up and Second Runner-up, Miss Priscilla Nana Akua Gameli and Miss Marigold Frimpong at the presidency in Accra last Friday.

The delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer EEGL, Inna Mariam Patty, organisers of this year's beauty Pageant.

Miss Patty took the opportunity to brief the Vice President about the event, which was held on Saturday, October 7, at the Banquet Hall in Accra.

Vice President Bawumia congratulated them and urged them to use the platform to promote a useful cause.

He said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointment as the African Union Gender Champion, will promote gender issues that will inure to the benefit of gender, particularly women and children.
