Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has made a case to retain people with parliamentary institutional knowledge to enhance work in the House.
Making reference to himself and Deputy Speaker, Alban Bagbin who have decades of parliamentary experience, Mr Mensah Bonsu, said they are not instant products but it took time for them to learn the rules of the game.
The electorate must therefore respect and take advantage of what they have to offer the legislature.
Speaking at a forum on Parliament's role in fighting corruption, Mr. Kyei Mensah Bonsu said executive influence in Parliamentary Affairs is a weakness in the fight against corruption and should be addressed.
