Ghana's First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo says the prevention of Mother–to-Child transmission of HIV and Breast Cancer will not succeed and achievements made will be eroded without the involvement of the male partners by way of encouragement, support and guidance.
She has therefore appealed to men to be involved in the health and well-being of women and children.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo made the call at the launch of an HIV Advocacy, Elimination of Mother- to-Child HIV Transmission, at Ho in the Volta region.
She also launched the National Acceleration Plan for Pediatric HIV Services.
