Ghana Health Service warns medical practitioners against unethical conduct

The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare has lashed out at Medical and Dental Practitioners engaged in, what he described as unethical conduct to fleece patients.
There have been concerns in recent times about Doctors working in government institutions and at the same time practising in their own private hospitals and sometimes referring patients from public hospitals to their private practice.
Dr. Nsiah Asare deems it unethical, saying such conduct, will no longer be condoned by the Ghana Health Service.
He was speaking at the Graduation and swearing-in ceremony of the Schools of Medical Sciences, Dentistry and veterinary sciences of the KNUST in Kumasi.
