President Akufo-Addo optimistic made in Ghana goods will excel on International market

Government has pledged to support the textile industry to create jobs in the country.

This is in fulfillment of government's goal of unleashing the Ghanaian sense of enterprise and position Ghana as preferred investment destination.

The President made this known when he launched the Ghana Apparel Manufacturing Expansion project in Accra.

The project is expected to create more than one thousand jobs and add millions a year in new apparel export from Ghana to the United States of America.

President Akufo-Addo was optimistic that the made in Ghana brand will sell on the international market.

President Akufo-Addo announced that government is rolling out strategies to take full advantage of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act, AGOA.
